Hi, I'm Alex Gammon, the owner and principal designer at Standard Plans. I believe in bringing clarity, transparency, and reliable timelines to residential design. Building or renovating your home should be an exciting journey, not a stressful one.

We specialize in residential projects across Ontario, including decks, garages, custom homes, and multi-family housing (duplexes, triplexes, etc.), and have served clients across Canada.
My background is built on a strong foundation. I spent a decade in service-based roles at RONA and Home Hardware, gaining invaluable knowledge of building materials. After completing my architectural technician diploma, I spent three years assisting a highly recognized local designer with numerous custom home projects. This experience led me to found Standard Plans, where I bring my expertise directly to you.
I'm driven by a passion for problem-solving and the joy of seeing clients' visions come to life. I personally oversee every project, ensuring exceptional service and creating functional, beautiful spaces. Each design is tailored to the individual needs of the homeowner, ensuring a perfect fit.
